Seasonal Retail Fragrances Sales Associate, Chesterfield Town Center
About The Position
As a Seasonal Fragrance Sales Support colleague, you will help create a warm, inviting experience in the fragrance department. You will maintain a beautifully merchandised, fully stocked space while supporting the sales team behind the scenes and on the sales floor. Tasks include preparing products, restocking displays, and assisting with transactions. You will anticipate team needs, keep the department shop-ready, and help create positive customer experiences during the busy season. Colleagues review sales goals, learn about new arrivals and top-selling items, and stay informed about trends and promotions. On the floor, they welcome customers, build personal connections, and share information. They maintain the department by merchandising new receipts, processing damages and testers, returning selected merchandise to vendors, updating signs and pricing, and supporting merchandise moves. They also share Loyalty program benefits, ensure customers have what they need, and contribute to team collaboration and sales goals. Seasonal colleagues are typically scheduled for 10–20 hours per week, depending on business needs and availability. Flexible availability is needed for various shifts, including days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

- Maintain a clean, organized, fully stocked, and shoppable sales floor.
- Prepare products, restock displays, and support the sales team on the floor and behind the scenes.
- Review sales goals and stay informed about new arrivals, top-selling items, trends, and promotions.
- Welcome customers, make eye contact, and build friendly, personal customer relationships.
- Merchandise new receipts and support merchandise moves.
- Process damages and testers and select merchandise for return to vendors.
- Update signs and pricing.
- Share Loyalty program benefits, ensure customers have what they need, and thank them for their visit.
- Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to sales goals and store results.
