About The Position
As a Seasonal Fragrance Sales Support colleague, you help create a warm, inviting experience in Macy’s fragrance department. You maintain a beautifully merchandised, fully stocked space while supporting the sales team behind the scenes and on the floor. Tasks include preparing products, restocking displays, and assisting with transactions. The role combines customer service and operational support: anticipating team needs, keeping the area shop-ready, and helping create positive customer experiences during the busy season. It suits flexible team players who can manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment and work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Colleagues help prepare the sales floor, stay informed about sales goals, new arrivals, top-selling items, trends, and promotions, and engage customers with welcoming, personal service. They maintain merchandise and displays, process damages, testers, and selected merchandise for vendor returns, update signs and pricing, and support merchandise moves. They share loyalty-program benefits, ensure customers have what they need, and collaborate with colleagues to achieve individual and store results. Seasonal colleagues are typically scheduled for 10–20 hours per week, depending on business needs and colleague availability.
Requirements

Responsibilities
- Help maintain a clean, organized, fully stocked, and shop-ready fragrance sales floor.
- Prepare products and restock displays.
- Review sales goals and stay informed about new arrivals, top-selling items, trends, and promotions.
- Welcome customers and build relationships through friendly, personal conversations.
- Merchandise new receipts and support merchandise moves.
- Process damages, testers, and selected merchandise for return to vendors.
- Update signs and pricing.
- Assist with transactions, including processing register transactions.
- Share loyalty-program benefits, ensure customers have what they need, and thank them for their visit.
- Collaborate with colleagues and work toward sales goals and individual and store results.
