About The Position
Simply Southern is a nationally recognized apparel brand that celebrates the preppy American lifestyle. The company sells clothing through independent retailers and its own retail stores, and supports charitable organizations including sea turtle conservation and ChildFund International. The Seasonal Retail Associate provides enthusiastic customer service while customers shop and purchase products, helping ensure they have a positive experience. The associate learns about each customer's needs and suggestively sells products they may enjoy, while embodying the company's vision, mission, and values. The position is located in person in Savannah–Pooler, Georgia. Retail experience is preferred but not required, and flexible availability is requested.
Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to climb ladders.
- Ability to stand and walk for 4–10 hours a day.
- Ability to work independently and be self-motivated.
- Strong communication and listening skills.
- Interpersonal skills.
- Strong negotiating and influencing skills.
- Basic math skills.
- Familiarity with cash registers, computers, and calculators.
- Flexible availability is requested.
Nice To Haves
- Retail experience is preferred but not required.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- One year of customer service experience preferred.
