About The Position

This position is for a Seasonal Registered Nurse (RN) in the Central Staffing Office, specifically for the NICU unit, working PRN shifts on days. The role requires the nurse to be available to work 36 hours per week. The main office is in Arlington, TX, but the primary work location will be in Region B. The Central Staffing Office provides clinical staffing resources for all Texas Health Resources (THR) hospitals and requires flexibility to float throughout the Metroplex based on business needs. The department emphasizes high-performing staff with excellent critical thinking skills.

Requirements

  • Nursing Diploma Required or Associate’s degree in Nursing Required or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing Preferred
  • Must comply with CLIA regulations regarding foreign education equivalency
  • 5 years of experience with three years in the last five years as a Registered Nurse in area of specialty Required
  • Texas RN - Registered Nurse required upon hire
  • BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support upon hire
  • NRP - Essential Neonatal Resuscitation Program upon hire
  • NRPA-Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program upon hire
  • A high degree of confidentiality, positive interpersonal skills, and ability to function in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be available to work 36 hours/week.
  • Must have flexibility to float throughout the Metroplex based on the needs of the business.
