Seasonal Registered Nurse (RN) - Central Staffing Office – Labor & Delivery (L&D) - PRN Nights – Region B
About The Position
Texas Health Central Staffing Office is seeking a Seasonal Registered Nurse (RN) for the Labor & Delivery (L&D) Unit, working PRN nights. This role is part of an internal staffing department that provides clinical staffing resources for all Texas Health Resources (THR) hospitals. The position requires flexibility to float throughout the Metroplex based on business needs, specifically within Region B, which includes Denton, Flower Mound, Southlake, HEB, Arlington Memorial, Heart & Vascular, Alliance, and Azle. The main office is located in Arlington, TX, but primary work will be in Region B. The role is not eligible for Full Time or Part Time benefits.
Requirements
- Nursing Diploma, Associate's Degree in Nursing, or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
- Must comply with CLIA regulations regarding foreign education equivalency.
- 5 Years of experience with three years in the last five years as a Registered Nurse in area of specialty.
- TX RN licensure or compact licensure recognized by the Texas Board of Nursing upon hire.
- BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support maintained every 2 years Upon Hire.
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support Upon Hire.
- AWHONN - Advanced Fetal Monitoring Upon Hire or IFM - Intermediate Fetal Monitoring Upon Hire.
- NRP - Essential Neonatal Resuscitation Program Upon Hire or NRPA-Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Upon Hire.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing Preferred.
