About The Position

Texas Health Central Staffing Office is an internal staffing department that provides clinical staffing resources for all Texas Health Resources (THR) hospitals. This role requires flexibility to float throughout the Metroplex based on the needs of the business and assigned zones. The department prides itself on highly performing staff with excellent critical thinking skills, working within the Emergency Department environment.

Requirements

  • Associate Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred (or, CLIAFE – Must comply with CLIA regulations regarding foreign education equivalency required)
  • 5+ years clinical nurse experience, with a minimum of 3 years Emergency experience in the last five years required
  • Current TX RN licensure or compact licensure recognized by the Texas Board of Nursing required upon hire
  • BCLS – Basic Cardiac Life Support upon hire required
  • ACLS- Advanced Cardiac Life Support upon hire required
  • PALS – Pediatric Advanced Life Support upon hire required
  • ENPC – Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course upon hire required
  • NIHSS – National Institute of Health Stroke certificate within 90 days of hire
  • TNCC – Trauma Nursing Core Course required upon hire OR ATCN Advanced Trauma Care Nurse required upon hire

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred
