About The Position
The University of New Hampshire Office of Admissions is seeking temporary application readers for the period of late September through mid-March. These readers will have the flexibility to work remotely and will receive comprehensive training in holistic application review. This process involves a detailed examination of an applicant's application, transcripts, school profile, letters of recommendation, and any provided test scores. The University of New Hampshire, a public research university and the flagship institution of the University System of New Hampshire (USNH), utilizes a holistic application review process. This process is designed to identify and enroll a diverse and academically competitive incoming class that enriches the learning community and promotes college access and educational opportunity.

Responsibilities
- Review first-year applications using UNH's holistic admissions process
- Apply admissions guidelines consistently and fairly
- Enter ratings and comments into the admissions system
- Evaluate academic records, essays, extra curricular involvement, recommendations, and other application materials to make admission decisions
- Meet productivity and accuracy goals while maintaining confidentiality
- Participate in training and calibration sessions to ensure consistent application review
- Communicate with admission staff regarding unusual or complex applications
