About The Position

The Workforce Group, a LEMOINE company, is seeking a motivated and experienced Seasonal Recruiter to join their team to support the team during the Disaster Season. The ideal candidate will have a background in high volume, fast-paced recruiting for disaster and emergency response positions. This role is critical in ensuring the company has the right personnel to respond effectively to emergencies and disasters.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a recruiter, preferably in disaster and emergency response or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of disaster and emergency response roles and qualifications.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment tools.
  • Familiarity with OFCCP compliance or federal/state hiring guidelines.
  • Familiarity with federal and state regulations related to disaster and emergency response staffing.

Nice To Haves

  • A bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
  • Previous experience in emergency management, disaster recovery, or related fields is preferred.
  • Bilingual skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs for disaster and emergency response positions.
  • Develop and implement effective recruiting strategies to attract top talent.
  • Source candidates through various channels, including job boards, social media, and networking events.
  • Screen and evaluate candidates to ensure they meet the required qualifications and experience.
  • Conduct interviews and coordinate with hiring managers to facilitate the selection process.
  • Manage the candidate pipeline and maintain accurate records in the applicant tracking system (ATS).
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations in the recruitment process.
  • Provide a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
  • Assist with onboarding and orientation for new hires.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
