About The Position

This is a summer seasonal position from May to August, working the 2nd shift (2:00 PM - 10:00 PM), Monday through Friday. The role involves working safely as part of a team to produce quality Sargento products, reading and understanding production orders, communicating effectively, ensuring food safety and quality standards are met, and assisting with the setup and placement of production equipment. The position also requires the use of cleaning chemicals to sanitize and clean equipment and production areas as necessary, and working alongside automated equipment.

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • Willingness to complete forklift certification upon hire.
  • Ability to learn and carry out lock out tag out procedures as required.
  • Lifting 50 lbs.
  • Ability to perform data entry for inventory systems and labeling software.

Nice To Haves

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED/HSED) preferred.
  • Prior manufacturing experience a plus.
  • Punctual self-starter who works professionally in both a team environment as well as individually.
  • Willingness to take direction.
  • Likes to work with hands.
  • Strong work ethic and a positive attitude.
  • Ability to learn new skills.
