About The Position

This role involves working safely as part of a team to produce quality Sargento products. The individual will read and understand production orders, communicate effectively, and ensure food safety and quality standards are met. Responsibilities include assisting with the setup and placement of production equipment, working alongside automated equipment, and using cleaning chemicals to sanitize and clean equipment and production areas as necessary. The position requires a willingness to learn new skills, a strong work ethic, and a positive attitude. This is a 4th shift position with hours from 10pm-6am, Sunday-Thursday, with potential for Friday work based on business needs. The work environment is a refrigerated food production facility, often loud due to machinery, and may involve exposure to wet, humid, and damp conditions during sanitation. Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED/HSED) required or minimally enrolled with anticipated completion in 12 months or less.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Willingness to complete fork lift certification upon hire.
• Ability to learn and carry out lock out tag out procedures as required.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Ability to perform data entry for inventory systems and labeling software.

• Prior manufacturing experience is a plus.
