About The Position

This role is for a Production Sanitation Utility position on the 2nd shift, which operates from 2pm to 10pm, Monday through Friday, with Saturdays as needed based on business demands. The ideal candidate is a punctual self-starter who can work both independently and as part of a team, possesses a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and a willingness to learn new skills. Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Willingness to complete fork lift certification upon hire.
• Ability to learn and carry out lock out tag out procedures as required.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Ability to perform data entry for inventory systems and labeling software.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED/HSED) required or minimally enrolled with anticipated completion in 12 months or less
• Prior manufacturing experience is a plus

Responsibilities

• Work safely as part of a team to produce quality Sargento products.
• Read and understand production orders to verify information is correct.
• Communicate effectively and accurately.
• Ensure food safety and quality standards are met by being mindful of the food production process.
• Be dependable and take pride in working with a team.
• Assist with the setup and placement of production equipment.
• Work alongside state-of-the-art automated equipment.
• Use cleaning chemicals to sanitize and clean equipment and production areas as necessary.
