Seasonal Production Associate - 2nd Shift
About The Position
Scotts Miracle-Gro is hiring a Seasonal Production Associate for its Marysville Manufacturing Plant in Marysville, Ohio. The role supports production and packaging of lawn fertilizer products in a fast-paced, team-oriented manufacturing environment. The position is seasonal, with potential advancement to full-time employment. The stated start date is August 4, 2026. The role is physically active and involves working on production lines, operating material-handling equipment, and following safety and quality procedures. Employees may work in hot, cold, or humid indoor conditions and must be able to perform the physical tasks described below. Production shifts generally last 8 to 12 hours. The advertised second-shift schedule is 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM, although schedules vary by department. Mandatory overtime, including weekends and holidays, is required; during the October-to-March peak season, employees should expect to work one to two weekends per month. The posting lists seasonal pay as $21 per hour in its introductory pay statement and $22 per hour for second and third shifts in its compensation section. Overtime after 40 hours is paid at 1.5 times the regular rate, and Sunday shifts are paid at twice the regular rate. Pay is weekly. Requirements
- Be dependable, safety-focused, and able to work effectively in a team-driven environment.

- Successfully pass a background check and drug screening before the first day of work.

- At least one year of production plant experience; preferred but not required.
- Forklift operation experience; preferred, but training is available.
