About The Position

Responsible for providing quality customer service while taking admissions fees, providing correct change and ensuring maximum security of the daily revenue. Regular attendance is required to perform the duties of this position. Receive the admission fees from paying customers. Secure the revenue and provide correct change. Assist management in preparing daily revenue for deposit. Receive the public as the first point of contact with the facility, in a professional and courteous manner. Respond to patron inquiries regarding fee structure of the facility and general rules and regulations for usage of the facility. Daily communication with management regarding activities at the facility. Maintain order, anticipate problems and take necessary steps to prevent or defuse problems in the aquatic facility. Participate in all in-service training session as requested. Maintain a clean and orderly control and entrance area.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 16 years of age by start date.
  • Skill in operation of listed equipment.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, supervisors, other agencies, participants, instructors and the general public; ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing; ability to give and understand oral instructions.
  • Ability to receive correct amount charged, ability to calculate change due customer and ability to balance monies at the end of the work day and prepare deposit.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous cashier experience preferred.
