About The Position

The Seasonal Peak Associate is a seasonal part-time or full-time position responsible for processing and preparing receipts of merchandise, fixtures, and supplies within an assigned store location. The role also assists with moving, stocking, and replenishing merchandise in the sales floor and receiving areas. Associates follow company procedures, support ongoing recovery, and may operate a cash register as needed.

Requirements

• Basic math and reading skills.
• Legible handwriting.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.

Nice To Haves

• Prior merchandise receiving, handling, and stocking experience in a retail or warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Follow the Company’s freight management process when unloading.
• Unload merchandise, fixtures, and other supplies from trucks and direct them to designated areas on the sales floor.
• Prepare merchandise for the sales floor by removing packaging, verifying price information, and ticketing items when necessary.
• Process merchandise as directed and in accordance with Company procedures.
• Perform ongoing recovery during the shift as needed, including collecting trash and compacting cardboard.
• Work independently and as part of a team to accomplish assigned goals.
• Operate a cash register as needed.
• Recover receiving areas and the sales floor before the end of each shift.
