About The Position

The Seasonal Package Handler works at OnTrac’s South Brunswick Hub in Dayton, New Jersey, helping process packages during the holiday rush. The role involves safely unloading, sorting, moving, and loading packages, maintaining an organized workspace, and helping packages reach their destinations safely and on time. Training is provided; previous warehouse experience is not required.

The position is seasonal from November 13, 2026, through December 31, 2026. The scheduled shift is Friday through Sunday, either 4:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. or until the sort is complete. Hours may vary with business needs. “End of Sort” means completing the required sort work and clean-up activities as directed by site management. The position pays $20.00, is eligible for overtime in accordance with applicable law, and offers a $1,000 end-of-season bonus subject to eligibility and other terms. Seasonal employees may be considered for permanent openings after the assignment, but continued employment is not guaranteed.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old.
• Be authorized to work in the United States.
• Be dependable and available for scheduled shifts, including weekends or holidays when needed.
• Meet applicable pre-employment requirements, including a background check where permitted by law.
• Be able to perform the stated physical tasks, with or without reasonable accommodation, including repeated package lifting and standing, walking, bending, lifting, reaching, and other repetitive physical tasks throughout the shift.
• Be able to work in varying warehouse temperatures.
• No previous warehouse experience is required; training is provided.

Responsibilities

• Safely unload, sort, move, and load packages weighing up to 30–50 pounds independently throughout the shift.
• Participate in team lifts for packages weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Stand and/or walk for extended periods during scheduled shifts.
• Frequently bend, twist, reach, push, pull, and squat while handling packages.
• Work in warehouse environments that may be hot or cold due to limited temperature-control capabilities.
• Keep the workspace organized and ready for work.
• Help packages reach their next destination safely and on time.
• Work scheduled shifts, including overtime when business needs require.
