About The Position

OnTrac is hiring a Seasonal Package Handler at its South Brunswick Hub in Dayton, New Jersey. The position supports the holiday shipping rush by safely unloading, sorting, moving, and loading packages, helping them reach their next destination safely and on time. The role involves regular physical activity throughout the shift and work in warehouse temperatures that may not be controlled. No previous warehouse experience is required; training is provided.

The shift is Monday through Thursday, either 4:00 a.m.–12:30 p.m. or until the sort is complete. Hours may vary based on business needs. “End of Sort” includes completion of required sorting and cleanup activities as directed by site management. The seasonal assignment runs from November 9, 2026, to December 31, 2026. Seasonal employees may be considered for available permanent positions afterward, subject to eligibility and availability; continued employment is not guaranteed.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old.
• Be authorized to work in the United States.
• Be dependable and available for scheduled shifts, including weekends or holidays when needed.
• Meet applicable pre-employment requirements, including a background check where permitted by law.
• Be able to repeatedly lift packages, stand, walk, bend, lift, reach, and perform repetitive physical tasks throughout the shift, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Be able to work in varying warehouse temperatures.
• No previous warehouse experience is required; training is provided.

Responsibilities

• Safely unload, sort, move, and load packages weighing up to 30–50 pounds independently throughout the shift.
• Participate in team lifts for packages weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Keep the workspace organized and ready for work.
• Help packages reach their next destination safely and on time.
• Work scheduled shifts, including overtime when business needs require.
• Complete required sort work and cleanup activities as directed by site management.
