About The Position

The Seasonal Merchandise Associate is responsible for delivering a highly satisfied customer experience by engaging with customers, applying customer experience principles, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment. The associate follows operational, merchandising, and loss prevention standards and may be cross-trained in multiple store areas to support business needs. The role includes serving customers at checkout, promoting credit and loyalty programs, preparing and processing merchandise for the sales floor, supporting store recovery and cleanliness, and contributing to safety and shrink-reduction efforts. Associates uphold a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect, and provide and accept recognition and constructive feedback. Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

Responsibilities

Deliver a highly satisfied customer experience by engaging and interacting with customers.
Model established customer experience practices with internal and external customers.
Support a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect.
Accurately ring customer purchases and returns and count change according to operating procedures.
Promote credit and loyalty programs.
Maintain the merchandising philosophy and follow established merchandising procedures and standards.
Process and prepare merchandise for the sales floor according to company procedures and standards.
Initiate and participate in store recovery throughout the day as needed.
Maintain sales-floor organization, cleanliness, and recovery standards and participate in maintaining the cleanliness of the entire store.
Follow labor laws, policies, and procedures.
Support and participate in store shrink-reduction goals and programs.
Participate in safety awareness and maintain a safe environment.
Provide and accept recognition and constructive feedback.
Perform other duties as assigned.
