About The Position

Parkbridge Lifestyle Communities, an operating platform of QuadReal Property Group, is seeking a Seasonal Maintenance Technician for the Wasaga CountryLife Cottage and RV Resort. This is a newly created role responsible for groundskeeping, building repairs, and water/septic system maintenance to ensure the community remains in top shape. The role also plays a key part in pool operations and maintaining a safe, welcoming environment. This hands-on position is designed to keep the employee active and engaged.

Requirements

Clean Driver’s Abstract
Must be willing to take water certification course at the beginning of employment
Must be willing to take the pool certification course at the beginning of employment
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
Ability to lift, push and pull up to 25lbs frequently and up to 50lbs infrequently; ability to work at heights
Excellent oral & written communication skills
Excellent problem solving, critical thinking and organizational skills

Nice To Haves

Current water ticket or pool certificate preferred

Responsibilities

Responsible for the grounds maintenance and landscaping of the property
Responsible for the repairs and maintenance of all community buildings and equipment
Providing support to residents as required, such as firewood delivery
Water testing and record keeping daily
Maintaining the pool and spa facilities
Responsible for managing and keeping records of the upkeep of the septic systems
Responsible for maintaining all Health & Safety aspects of the Community and Community Buildings
Ensuring ongoing communication with Manager
Responsible for cleaning work area, tools and equipment
Responsible for courteous, efficient response at all times
Operate within the applicable Occupational Health & Safety legislation and company policies at all times
Be prepared to accept after hour calls and act on emergencies as required
Other duties as required
