About The Position
Chebeague Island Inn, a 21-room boutique hotel nestled on 2.5 acres of oceanfront property on Chebeague Island, ME, offers panoramic views of Casco Bay. It provides an intimate, tranquil escape where serene rooms, free of TVs and phones, invite guests to slow down and savor coastal living. The Inn blends classic New England charm with warm, personalized service for weddings and weekend getaways. We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable seasonal Housekeeper to join our team. This role is vital in maintaining the cleanliness, comfort, and overall guest experience of the Inn. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, values teamwork, and contributes to a positive and supportive environment. This is a full-time seasonal role starting early to mid-May and ending early October (exact dates may vary). The candidate will need reliable transportation to and from Chebeague Island Inn or housing on the Island.

Responsibilities
- Clean and service guest rooms, bathrooms, and common areas to established standards
- Change linens, make beds, and replenish guest room amenities
- Ensure all rooms are guest-ready, clean, and welcoming
- Maintain cleanliness of public spaces including hallways, lounges, and restrooms
- Report maintenance issues, damages, or safety concerns promptly
- Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines
- Support laundry operations as needed
- Work collaboratively with team members to ensure efficient daily operations
- Provide friendly and respectful interactions with guests when encountered
