About The Position

The Seasonal Holiday Security Officer helps maintain a safe and secure environment for clients by monitoring premises, controlling access, and patrolling locations. The officer preserves order and enforces regulations and directives at client sites relating to personnel, visitors, and the area. The position involves frequent interaction with client employees and guests, customer service, property tours, and use of technology devices during shifts. Shifts are 9 to 12 hours, and holiday availability is required.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Above-average computer and technology skills.
• Excellent customer service and team leadership skills.
• Ability to work independently.
• Ability to remain calm and professional during stressful situations.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to remain vigilant throughout the shift.
• Professional demeanor.
• Willingness to participate in pre-employment screening, including a drug screen and background investigation.
• Must be available to cover holidays.
• Valid driver's license.
• Arizona Guard Card.

• Security, law enforcement, or military experience.

Responsibilities

• Monitor premises and control access.
• Patrol locations and conduct tours of the property.
• Preserve order and enforce regulations and directives for personnel, visitors, and client sites.
• Resolve conflicts and de-escalate situations.
• Identify and report safety issues, hazardous conditions, and suspicious activity.
• Follow post orders and complete assigned rounds.
• Provide customer service and information to client employees and guests.
• Use technology devices throughout the shift.
• Carry out other tasks and duties of similar nature and scope as required for the assigned site.
• Respond to emergencies using rapid, effective judgment and appropriate escalation.
