Seasonal Holiday Sales Associate - MainPlace
About The Position
As a Sales Associate/Photographer, you will help create excellent experiences on Santa photo sets by welcoming families, engaging with children, and capturing holiday moments. You will bring warmth, energy, and guest service to each visit while supporting a smooth photo experience. The role includes taking photos, providing souvenirs, operating point-of-sale and photography equipment, and helping maintain a safe, clean, and effective operation. Photography experience is not required. This is a seasonal role with scheduling flexibility and a minimum availability of 20 hours per week or as needed.
Requirements
- Be at least 16 years of age.
- Ability to lift and carry equipment weighing 10–25 pounds and stand for prolonged periods.
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Comfortable greeting and working with families and children.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to process sales transactions and comfort with cash handling.
- Professional attire and good hygiene.
- Availability to attend training meetings and complete required courses.
- Flexibility to work during peak retail hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Availability to work a minimum of 20 hours per week or as needed.
Nice To Haves
- Previous retail, service industry, or cashier experience is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Take photos and provide guests with memorable souvenirs.
- Provide excellent guest service throughout the Santa photo set experience and make families feel welcomed and cared for.
- Work as a team member to help photo operations run smoothly and effectively.
- Engage in a friendly, patient, and festive manner with children, families, guests, staff, and coworkers.
- Operate the POS system and photography equipment.
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment.
- Complete other tasks as assigned.
