About The Position

Cherry Hill Programs is hiring a Seasonal Holiday Sales Associate to help create memorable Santa photo experiences at Francis Scott Key Mall. The associate welcomes families, engages with children, takes photographs, and provides guests with souvenirs while delivering warm, attentive service throughout their visit. The role supports smooth photo-set operations by working collaboratively, operating point-of-sale and photography equipment, and maintaining a safe, clean environment. Photography experience is not required. The position requires at least 20 hours per week or as needed, with flexibility to work during peak retail periods, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Training meetings and required courses must be completed.

The seasonal role offers flexible scheduling, same-day pay options, an employee referral program, and opportunities to return for future holiday seasons or explore growth opportunities in the souvenir photography division where available. Employees also receive one free Santa visit for friends and family, with photo prints, holiday cards, a personalized digital message from Santa, and access to Pixie Post.

Requirements

• Be at least 16 years of age.
• Be able to lift and carry equipment weighing 10–25 pounds and stand for prolonged periods.
• Have a positive attitude and strong work ethic, and be able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Be comfortable greeting and working with families and children.
• Have good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Be able to process sales transactions and handle cash comfortably.
• Maintain professional attire and good hygiene.
• Be available to work a minimum of 20 hours per week or as needed.
• Be flexible to work during peak retail hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Nice To Haves

• Previous retail, service industry, or cashier experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Take photos and provide guests with memorable souvenirs.
• Provide excellent guest service throughout the Santa photo set experience, helping families feel welcomed and cared for.
• Work as part of a team to help photo operations run smoothly and effectively.
• Engage in a friendly, patient, and festive manner with children, families, guests, staff, and coworkers.
• Operate the point-of-sale system and photography equipment.
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment.
• Complete other tasks as assigned.
• Attend training meetings and complete required courses.
