About The Position

Cherry Hill Programs is hiring a Seasonal Holiday Sales Associate to help create memorable Santa photo experiences at La Plaza. The associate welcomes families, engages with children, takes photos, and helps guests select and purchase keepsakes. They provide warm, attentive service and work with the team to keep photo operations running smoothly in a safe, clean environment. Photography experience is not required. The role is seasonal and requires availability for at least 20 hours per week or as needed, including peak retail periods such as evenings, weekends, and holidays.

The position offers flexible scheduling, same-day pay options, an employee referral program, and opportunities to return for future holiday seasons or explore growth in the souvenir photography division where available. Employees also receive one free Santa visit for friends and family, including 10 photo prints, 10 holiday cards from Shutterfly, a personalized digital message from Santa powered by Portable North Pole, and three free months of Pixie Post access.

Requirements

• Must be at least 16 years of age.
• Ability to lift and carry equipment weighing 10–25 pounds and stand for prolonged periods.
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic; ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Comfortable greeting and working with families and children.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to process sales transactions and comfort with cash handling.
• Professional attire and good hygiene.
• Available to work a minimum of 20 hours a week or as needed.
• Flexibility to work during peak retail hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Nice To Haves

• Previous retail, service industry, or cashier experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Take photos and provide guests with memorable souvenirs.
• Provide excellent guest service throughout the Santa photo set experience.
• Participate as a team member to help photo operations run smoothly and effectively.
• Engage in a friendly, patient, and festive manner with children, families, guests, staff, and coworkers.
• Operate the point-of-sale system and photography equipment.
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment.
• Complete other tasks as assigned.
• Attend training meetings and complete required courses.
