About The Position

If you enjoy working outside and making things beautiful then Quarryville Presbyterian Retirement Community has a fantastic seasonal opportunity for you! This seasonal grounds crew position is ideal for someone who is looking to be active and spend a lot of time outdoors this Summer.

Requirements

• Must be at least 16 years of age, and able to work the hours stated above
• Prior grounds and/or landscaping experience, a big plus
• Must have strong customer service and follow up skills
• Enjoy being outside
• Able to work independently or as part of a team.
• Most importantly, this position requires dependability, initiative and the desire to be a part of a team who's main focus is to bring our Mission to life for our team and residents: To provide for the spiritual, physical, emotional and social needs of our residents through high quality facilities, services and personal care in a manner faithful to the Bible and honoring our Lord, Jesus Christ. Nice To Haves

• Prior grounds and/or landscaping experience

Responsibilities

• Mowing, trimming, blowing, and/or cutting grass and shrubbery.
• Landscaping functions such as mulching, weeding, planting, cleaning out flower beds, etc.
• Caring for and maintaining of the fountains around campus.
• Performing minor tree trimming work.
• Cleaning and sweeping outside entrances, patios, gazebos, etc.
