About The Position

Monarch Investment and Management Group is seeking a Seasonal Groundskeeper to join their team at the Retreat on 6th Apartments in Cedar Rapids. This position is part-time, up to 30 hours per week, and will run until September. The role involves maintaining the exterior grounds of the apartment community. Monarch Investment & Management Group is a significant player in commercial real estate investment, managing a large portfolio of apartment units across the country.

Requirements

• Valid Driver's License
• Able to work at multiple locations
• General knowledge of groundskeeping/landscaping
• Safely operate machine equipment

Responsibilities

• Responsible for daily trash removal from all public exterior areas
• Performs trimming, edging, landscaping, and exterior painting
• Responsible for care, maintenance and inventory of all supplies and equipment owned by the property and/or the management company related to grounds work.
• Responsible for light/basic tree and bush trimming
• Assists maintenance staff as requested, including but not limited to, preventative maintenance to buildings, moving appliances, inspections or assisting in getting apartments ready for new tenants.
• Snow removal (When applicable)
