About The Position
The Iowa 80 Truckstop is currently seeking a Seasonal Groundskeeper to join our team! This candidate should have excellent leadership skills and have a sense of urgency to get things done from day to day. We are looking for a very positive, CAN-DO person to fill this position. This individual will be responsible for helping to keep the operation clean and safe.
Requirements
- Excellent leadership skills including the ability to work with a diverse team
- Sense of urgency at work and commitment to keeping building and grounds in tip-top condition
- Must be always committed to 100% customer satisfaction
- Ability to work hands on-----alongside staff
- Must be flexible and able to take on new challenges and systems
- Be flexible to changes in duties
- Ability to lift 50 - 75 lbs.
- Must have a valid driver's license
Responsibilities
- Transport trash and waste to disposal area
- Work outside for an extended amount of time regardless of the weather conditions
- Power washing
- Heavy equipment operation
- Dumping trash
- Picking up trash
- Mowing
- Weed eating
- Painting
- Cleaning Diesel and gas islands
- Cleaning driveways and sidewalks
- Landscaping
- Fertilizing lawn
