About The Position

The Iowa 80 Truckstop is currently seeking a Seasonal Groundskeeper to join their team. This candidate should have excellent leadership skills and a sense of urgency to get things done from day to day. We are looking for a very positive, CAN-DO person to fill this position. This individual will be responsible for helping to keep the operation clean and safe. This position is perfect for students looking for summer work.

Requirements

• Excellent leadership skills including the ability to work with a diverse team
• Sense of urgency at work and commitment to keeping building and grounds in tip-top condition
• Must be always committed to 100% customer satisfaction
• Ability to work hands on-----alongside staff
• Must be flexible and able to take on new challenges and systems
• Be flexible to changes in duties
• Ability to lift 50 - 75 lbs.
• Must have a valid driver's license

Responsibilities

• Transport trash and waste to disposal area
• Work outside for an extended amount of time regardless of the weather conditions
• Must have a valid driver's license
• Power washing
• Heavy equipment operation
• Dumping trash
• Picking up trash
• Mowing
• Weed eating
• Painting
• Cleaning Diesel and gas islands
• Cleaning driveways and sidewalks
• Landscaping
• Fertilizing lawn
