About The Position

We are searching for three individuals to be part of our grounds crew from Mid-May through Labor Day. This role offers 40 hours of work per week with a pay range of $16.50-$18.50 per hour. A successful landscaper at Kenrick will provide excellent service while always keeping quality in mind. The ability to use different hand and power tools and equipment is necessary. We are looking for a motivated, dependable individual with reliable transportation.

Requirements

• Reliable transportation
• Ability to be on time for shift
• Operate as a part of a team
• Exhibit and demonstrate initiative
• Prior experience in landscaping and grounds keeping
• Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time.
• Physical stamina
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Mowing lawns, raking and disposal of grass clippings
• Shrub and tree trimming
• Raking and disposal of leaves
• Weeding
• Planting of grass seed, flowers, shrubs, and trees
• Fertilization
• Grounds pick-ups
• Removal of dead shrubs and trees
• Other tasks as assigned by the Superintendent
