About The Position

As a Warehouse Colleague, you help create a seamless, customer-focused experience behind the scenes by receiving, storing, picking, packing, sorting, and shipping merchandise. You handle items carefully and safely, maintain a clean and organized warehouse, and support a positive, respectful workplace. Your work contributes to on-time delivery and excellent service for customers and colleagues. The role involves using computers and handheld technology to process information, meeting productivity standards, following safety procedures, and supporting daily warehouse operations. Colleagues are expected to prioritize customers, work accurately and efficiently, help teammates, and maintain their work area and equipment throughout the shift. This is a seasonal, part-time position. Part-time colleagues are typically scheduled 12–24 hours per week, depending on business needs and availability. Required availability may include days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Requirements

No education or experience required.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, switch between multiple tasks, and work various shifts.
Ability to read and interpret instructional documents, including safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedural manuals.
Ability to adapt quickly to changing customer expectations and needs.
Proficiency using computers and handheld technology.
Ability to understand and communicate effectively with customers, coworkers, and supervisors.
Ability to read and understand employment policies and safety rules and procedures in English.
Ability to stand and walk around the facility or department for prolonged periods, up to 12 hours excluding breaks.
Ability to frequently use computers and handheld electronic equipment; reach above eye level; crouch, kneel, stoop, push, and pull.
Ability to lift and move items weighing up to 50–75 pounds.
Close vision, color vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
Ability to hear and see safety and emergency alarms and Power Industrial Truck warning devices.

Responsibilities

Load and unload cartons and merchandise from delivery trucks, conveyor systems, and other locations.
Lift, carry, push, and pull packages on a continuous and repetitive basis.
Complete processing, receiving, and shipping activities in a timely manner and in accordance with productivity standards.
Accurately enter data using PCs, handheld computers, radio frequency equipment, or similar devices, and learn area-specific warehouse and proprietary systems.
Perform job functions safely and promptly report accidents or safety hazards to the safety committee.
Prepare for shifts by wearing a name badge, following the dress code, attending start-ups, checking the work area, and staying informed about daily goals.
Prioritize customers by working quickly and accurately, handling merchandise carefully, and packing customer orders neatly.
Build positive relationships with coworkers by greeting them, communicating respectfully, supporting new teammates, and helping colleagues.
At the end of shifts, tidy the workstation, return equipment, replenish supplies, and recognize coworkers’ contributions.
Foster an accepting and respectful environment that strengthens relationships with colleagues, customers, and communities.
