Seasonal Fulfillment and Receiving Support Associate, Short Hills
About The Position
As a Seasonal Fulfillment and Receiving Colleague, also known as a Back of House colleague, you support store operations, maintain inventory accuracy, and help ensure a smooth customer experience. The work includes receiving and organizing merchandise; picking, packing, and retrieving orders from back-of-house storage; delivering orders curbside; monitoring alerts to complete Buy Online Pickup In-Store (BOPS) orders on time; and keeping the stockroom and sales floor running efficiently. The role also involves customer interactions, including greeting shoppers, resolving issues, and carefully delivering curbside orders. Colleagues help maintain a shoppable store by recovering the sales floor and fitting rooms, updating signs and pricing, restocking merchandise, and supporting merchandise moves. They share loyalty program benefits, complete orders, organize the stockroom, and work collaboratively to improve customer satisfaction and store results. Seasonal colleagues are typically scheduled 10–20 hours per week, depending on business needs and colleague availability.
Requirements
- Flexible availability, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays, with regular, dependable attendance and punctuality.
- Ability to understand and communicate effectively with customers, coworkers, and supervisors.
- Ability to read and understand employment policies and safety rules and procedures in English.
- Comfort communicating and collaborating with customers and colleagues.
- Resourcefulness and adaptability to changing priorities; ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to meet daily sales goal challenges.
- Ability to talk, lift, move constantly, stand, and reach with arms and hands.
- Ability to stand for at least two consecutive hours and lift at least 25 pounds.

- Close vision, color vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
- Frequent use of computers and other technology, including handheld equipment and cash registers, and ability to process register transactions.
Responsibilities
- Receive, tag, organize, and restock merchandise; maintain an orderly stockroom.
- Pick, pack, retrieve, and complete customer orders accurately and on time.
- Monitor alerts to ensure Buy Online Pickup In-Store (BOPS) orders are Ready on Time.
- Deliver orders curbside and assist customers with care.
- Greet customers, listen actively, resolve issues, and provide helpful service.
- Recover the sales floor and fitting rooms, update signs and pricing, and support merchandise moves.
- Share loyalty program benefits and help meet sales goals.
- Collaborate with colleagues and organize the stockroom to support smooth operations and prepare the team for the next day.
