About The Position

This role involves monitoring pre-harvest and harvest for quality and quantity in a timely manner, estimating crop yields, and assisting with harvest sequencing. The Seasonal Fruit Evaluator will maintain a valid Driver’s License to operate a company vehicle, monitor crop volumes and fruit sizing, track trees for in-field fruit cataloging, and assist in the harvest sequence and direction of harvest crews. The position also includes learning fruit sampling techniques for grading and maturity analysis, assisting with data entry and management of scientific resources, and training and supervision of seasonal workers. Frequent travel to and from fields is necessary, with a company vehicle and fuel provided.

  • Supplementary training and/or designations related to the quality assurance or food safety field, or equivalent education and experience, is desirable.

Responsibilities
