About The Position

The Seasonal Freight Flow Team role at HomeGoods is responsible for delivering a highly satisfied customer experience by engaging with customers, maintaining a clean and organized store, and following operational, merchandise, and loss-prevention standards. Team members may be cross-trained in multiple store areas to support business needs. The position includes processing transactions and merchandise, maintaining store recovery and cleanliness, supporting sales and loyalty programs, and contributing to a positive, safe, and respectful store culture.

Responsibilities

• Role-model customer experience practices with internal and external customers.
• Support a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect.
• Accurately ring customer purchases and returns and count change according to operating procedures.
• Promote credit and loyalty programs.
• Maintain the merchandising philosophy and follow established merchandising procedures and standards.
• Process and prepare merchandise for the sales floor according to company procedures and standards.
• Initiate and participate in store recovery as needed throughout the day.
• Maintain organizational, cleanliness, and recovery standards for the sales floor and help maintain the cleanliness of the entire store.
• Provide and accept recognition and constructive feedback.
• Adhere to labor laws, policies, and procedures.
• Support and participate in store shrink-reduction goals and programs.
• Participate in safety awareness and maintain a safe environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
