About The Position

This position is responsible for providing meals for migrant employees, including preparation and serving. The role also involves organizing the kitchen and appliances, and general cleaning duties. The cook will plan meals for approximately 200 employees from Monday to Sunday and ensure all food preparation areas are clean and adhere to state health department regulations for food safety practices. This is a seasonal position lasting 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Plan meals Monday to Sunday for about 200 employees
• Work directly with migrant camp supervisor
• Ensure cleanliness of food preparation
• Follow state health department regulations pertaining to food safe practices
• Check in all food/supply orders
• Prepared all meals on time as scheduled or assigned by the migrant camp supervisor
• Keep kitchen and cafeteria clean
• Manage all aspects of food service for migrant workers
• All other duties as assigned
