About The Position
Healthy Living is seeking energetic, motivated team players to work as Seasonal Cashiers in its busy Front End during the fall, Thanksgiving, and Christmas shopping seasons. The Front End provides guests with their final experience at the store, emphasizing professional, friendly hospitality and an exceptional guest experience. Cashiers help guests leave feeling good about their time at Healthy Living by providing attentive service and going the extra mile. This seasonal position requires weekend availability. Healthy Living is closed on Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day. Pay starts at $15.50 per hour, with previous experience taken into consideration. The position is located at 222 Dorset St., South Burlington, Vermont.
Requirements
- Availability to work weekends.
- Provide friendly, attentive service and interact readily with guests.
- Handle register transactions accurately and maintain high cash-handling standards.
- Work quickly, efficiently, and thoroughly in a busy environment.
- Demonstrate reliability, accountability, positive energy, respect, adaptability, and a willingness to learn and help others.
Responsibilities
- Provide outstanding guest service by creating a friendly environment, greeting and acknowledging every customer, maintaining service standards, and demonstrating product knowledge.
- Complete register transactions accurately and follow high cash-handling standards.
- Keep the register station meticulously organized, clean, and inviting.
- Correctly identify weighed products, including produce and bulk items.
- Use sound judgment when bagging products and ask guests how they would like their products packed.
- Work with urgency while completing tasks efficiently and thoroughly, and connect with guests during the work.
- Contribute to a positive, respectful, collaborative team and proactively help coworkers and guests.
