About The Position

In Nordstrom’s Beauty Department, the Seasonal Beauty Sales employee creates personalized beauty experiences for customers and contributes to a passionate team. The role involves engaging customers to understand their needs and maximize sales in on-trend and luxury beauty brands. The employee may conduct makeup applications and skincare analyses, recommend products, build a customer following in-store and digitally, and help create a welcoming and inclusive environment. The position includes sales, customer service, department upkeep, event promotion, and ongoing product and industry learning.

Requirements

Responsibilities

Conduct makeup applications and skincare analyses, and recommend products based on customers’ beauty goals.
Collaborate with team members to create a welcoming and inclusive environment for customers.
Set and achieve in-store and digital sales goals using selling tools, including text and social media.
Book appointments and drive sales for in-store Beauty events and services.
Keep the department organized, clean, and customer-ready.
Stay current on beauty trends, products, and industry knowledge through Nordstrom and brand-partner training.
Manage sales, refunds, and exchanges, and build customer loyalty by opening new Nordstrom Rewards program accounts.
