About The Position
Menchey Music Service, a company serving students, parents, and music educators since 1936, is seeking Band Instrument Repair Assistants for a temporary position at their Operations Center in Hanover, PA. This role is crucial for the repair shop's community service. The position involves cleaning and refurbishing new and returned instruments to prepare them for rental or sale. The ideal candidate will have a passion for music and an interest in the music industry. The role requires daytime hours, 3-5 days per week, from August through October.

- Band instrument playing experience a plus but not necessary.
Responsibilities
- Thoroughly clean instrument, mouthpiece, and case.
- Identify any repairs or adjustments that need to be made to the instrument.
- Improve cosmetic appearance of instrument.
- Examine case and repair/replace as necessary.
- Replace included accessory items in case.
- Restock in warehouse once prep is completed.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
