About The Position

As a Seasonal Associate at Carter’s, you will be a welcoming first point of contact for customers and families. You will help customers find products and understand product styles, features, and benefits, while providing a positive shopping experience in a busy retail environment. The role includes resolving customer issues, supporting omnichannel shopping, completing register transactions, replenishing merchandise, processing shipments, and communicating promotional events and the brand loyalty program.

Requirements

• Ability to manage multiple tasks at once.
• Ability to lift 40 pounds as needed, with frequent bending, stooping, reaching, pushing, and pulling.
• Ability to stand or walk for extended periods and climb up and down a ladder.
• Availability may include days, nights, weekends, and holidays as scheduled.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers with a warm greeting and assist them with product styles, features, and benefits.
• Proactively resolve customer issues and serve multiple customers in a busy retail environment.
• Assist with omnichannel needs to support a positive shopping experience.
• Complete and expedite point-of-sale and register transactions.
• Complete floor replenishment and shipment tasks as needed.
• Explain current promotional events and the brand loyalty program, including credit, to customers.
• Help minimize store loss through exceptional customer service and by maintaining a safe, clean store.
