About The Position

As a Seasonal Associate, you will be the first face of the Carter’s brand for growing families. You will welcome customers, help them discover baby essentials and other products, and support families through important moments in their parenting journey. You will work in a welcoming and inclusive retail environment, helping customers and contributing to a positive shopping experience. The role includes customer service, sales-floor and shipment support, register transactions, and maintaining a safe, clean store. Compensation ranges from $16.00 to $18.25 per hour based on experience and location.

Requirements

• Ability to manage multiple tasks at once.
• Ability to lift 40 pounds as needed, with frequent bending, stooping, reaching, pushing, and pulling.
• Ability to stand or walk for extended periods and climb up and down a ladder.
• Availability that may include days, nights, weekends, and holidays as scheduled.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers warmly and assist them with product styles, features, and benefits.
• Proactively resolve customer issues and serve multiple customers in a busy retail environment.
• Assist with omnichannel needs to ensure a positive shopping experience.
• Execute and expedite point-of-sale/register transactions.
• Complete floor replenishment and shipment tasks as needed.
• Explain current promotional events and the brand loyalty program, including credit, to customers.
• Minimize store loss through exceptional customer service and by maintaining a safe, clean store.
