About The Position

As a Seasonal Associate, you are the first face of the Carter’s brand for growing families. You welcome customers, help them find products for babies and children, and support families through important moments in their parenting journey. You work in a welcoming and inclusive retail environment, assisting customers and supporting store operations. The position is seasonal and requires availability that may include days, nights, weekends, and holidays as scheduled.

Requirements

• Positive, solutions-oriented mindset.
• Demonstrated customer service and customer engagement skills.
• Effective and professional verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks at once.
• Ability to lift 40 pounds as needed, with frequent bending, stooping, reaching, pushing, and pulling.
• Ability to stand or walk for extended periods and climb up and down a ladder.
• Availability that may include days, nights, weekends, and holidays as scheduled.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers warmly and assist them with product styles, features, and benefits.
• Proactively resolve customer issues and serve multiple customers in a busy retail environment.
• Assist with omnichannel shopping needs to provide a positive customer experience.
• Complete and expedite point-of-sale/register transactions.
• Perform floor replenishment and shipment tasks as needed.
• Explain current promotions and the brand loyalty program, including credit, to customers.
• Help minimize store loss by providing exceptional customer service and maintaining a safe, clean store.
