About The Position

As a Seasonal Associate, you are the first face of the Carter’s brand for growing families. You welcome customers, help them find products for babies and children, and support their shopping needs throughout their parenting journey. You work in a welcoming and inclusive retail environment, assisting customers in person and through omnichannel services while supporting store operations. Carter’s offers training and development programs and opportunities to build skills and grow in the role.

Requirements

• Ability to manage multiple tasks at once.
• Ability to lift 40 pounds as needed, with frequent bending, stooping, reaching, pushing, and pulling.
• Ability to stand or walk for extended periods and climb up and down a ladder.
• Availability may include days, nights, weekends, and holidays as scheduled.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers with a warm greeting and provide assistance with product styles, features, and benefits.
• Proactively resolve customer issues and assist multiple customers in a busy retail environment.
• Assist with omnichannel services as needed to meet customer needs and ensure a positive shopping experience.
• Execute and expedite point-of-sale/register transactions.
• Complete floor replenishment and shipment tasks as needed.
• Explain current promotional events and the brand loyalty program, including credit, to customers.
• Help minimize store loss by providing exceptional customer service and maintaining a safe, clean store.
