About The Position

As a Seasonal Associate, you will be the first face of the Carter’s brand for growing families. You will welcome and assist customers as they shop for baby essentials, school clothing, and products for the milestones of their parenting journey. The role supports a welcoming and inclusive retail environment and involves customer service, point-of-sale transactions, replenishment, shipment, and maintaining a safe and clean store. Carter’s offers training and development programs and opportunities to build skills and grow.

Requirements

• A positive, solutions-oriented mindset.
• Demonstrated customer service and customer engagement skills.
• Effective and professional verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks at once.
• Ability to lift 40 pounds as needed, with frequent bending, stooping, reaching, pushing, and pulling.
• Ability to stand or walk for extended periods and climb up and down a ladder.
• Availability that may include days, nights, weekends, and holidays as scheduled.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers with a warm greeting and assist with product styles, features, and benefits.
• Proactively resolve customer issues and serve multiple customers in a busy retail environment.
• Assist with omnichannel needs to ensure a positive shopping experience.
• Execute and expedite point-of-sale and register transactions.
• Complete floor replenishment and shipment tasks as needed.
• Explain current promotional events and the brand loyalty program, including credit, to customers.
• Help minimize store loss by providing exceptional customer service and maintaining a safe, clean store.
