About The Position

As a Seasonal Associate, you are the first face of the Carter’s brand for growing families. You welcome customers and help them find products for important moments in their parenting journey, from new-baby essentials to the first day of school. You work in a welcoming and inclusive retail environment, supporting customers and the store team while building skills through training and development opportunities.

Carter’s Inc. is a North American apparel retailer for babies and young children, encompassing Carter’s, OshKosh B’gosh, SkipHop, and Little Planet. The role involves providing customer assistance, handling store transactions and replenishment, and maintaining a safe, clean store. Availability may include days, nights, weekends, and holidays as scheduled. The position requires lifting up to 40 pounds as needed and frequent bending, stooping, reaching, pushing, and pulling, as well as standing or walking for extended periods and climbing a ladder.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers with a warm greeting and assist them with product styles, features, and benefits.
• Proactively resolve customer issues and balance the needs of multiple customers in a busy retail environment.
• Assist with omnichannel needs to provide a positive shopping experience.
• Execute and expedite point-of-sale/register transactions.
• Complete floor replenishment and shipment tasks as needed.
• Explain current promotional events and the brand loyalty program, including credit, to customers.
• Help minimize store loss by providing exceptional customer service and maintaining a safe, clean store.
