About The Position

As a Seasonal Associate, you will represent the Carter’s brand and assist families throughout their parenting journey. You will welcome customers, help them find products, and support a positive shopping experience in a busy retail environment. The role includes assisting customers with product information and omnichannel services, processing transactions, replenishing the sales floor, and supporting shipment tasks. Associates also communicate promotional events and the brand loyalty program, help minimize store loss through exceptional customer service, and maintain a safe, clean store. Availability may include days, nights, weekends, and holidays as scheduled. Duties may be changed or reassigned at management’s discretion.

Requirements

• Positive, solutions-oriented mindset.
• Demonstrated customer service and customer engagement skills.
• Effective and professional verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks at once.
• Ability to lift 40 pounds as needed, with frequent bending, stooping, reaching, pushing, and pulling.
• Ability to stand or walk for extended periods and climb up and down a ladder.
• Availability that may include days, nights, weekends, and holidays as scheduled.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers with a warm greeting and assist them with product styles, features, and benefits.
• Proactively resolve customer issues and manage multiple customers in a busy retail environment.
• Assist with omnichannel services to meet customer needs and ensure a positive shopping experience.
• Execute and expedite point-of-sale/register transactions.
• Complete floor replenishment and shipment tasks as needed.
• Explain current promotional events and the brand loyalty program, including credit, to customers.
• Help minimize store loss by providing exceptional customer service and maintaining a safe, clean store.
