About The Position

Health Advocate is seeking a Seasonal Administrative Assistant for a 6-month assignment. This role is responsible for providing administrative support functions for appropriate department staff. The position involves performing a variety of administrative functions such as report creation, word processing, and phone coverage, which may require prioritizing work based on timelines. Requirements

  • Very strong system skills with emphasis on Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
  • Able to communicate directly with a variety of internal and external resources to complete multiple tasks.
  • Able to understand confidential information and the implications of sharing such data.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills – with emphasis on ability to communicate both verbally and in writing/email.
  • Ability to work in a team based environment.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint required.
  • Minimum 3 years increasingly responsible experience required as an administrative assistant in a medium to large corporation.

Nice To Haves

  • Additional specialized administrative course work in office practices, management or business administration preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Phone coverage.
  • Process affiliate invoices for timely payment.
  • Gather data from various systems for compilation into reports.
  • Work on projects in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
  • Compose various meeting minutes and disseminate to appropriate parties.
