The Seafood Manager provides direct leadership to the seafood department crew members, actively participating in and mentoring them to enthusiastically demonstrate, educate, and sell fresh seafood, service meat, and chef express products. This role involves managing the training process for new hires, conducting daily team huddles, ordering supplies, preparing products for sale, and creating daily plans and weekly work schedules. The manager is responsible for executing seafood programs and corporate promotions, controlling inventory, ensuring product freshness, managing POS systems, and maintaining accurate records for damaged/spoiled merchandise. Compliance with food and workplace safety regulations, as well as maintaining a clean and sanitary work area, are critical. The position also requires acquiring product knowledge across departments to assist guests and staying updated on promotions to enhance the guest experience. A team-oriented work environment that fosters collaboration is essential. The store operates seven days a week, potentially requiring weekend, holiday, and shift work.
