About The Position

This role is offering 20-25 hours per week and requires candidates to be available between 10am-9pm Monday-Sunday. The primary focus is on providing friendly and courteous service to customers, maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the seafood department, preparing products for display and storage, and handling live seafood. Additionally, the role involves preparing party trays, suggestive selling, sampling products, and cooking/frying/steaming seafood for customers. Training will be provided at the store level.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older to apply
• Must be available between 10am-9pm Monday-Sunday
• Minimum of six months employment with Schnucks preferred for Store/Facility Teammates
• Minimum of one year employment with Schnucks preferred for Store Support Center Teammates
• Must be in good standing (not on a performance improvement plan or active discipline)
• If invited for an interview, must have manager approval based on performance

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly and courteous service to customers
• Regular, reliable attendance is an essential function of the job.
• Follow company safety and sanitation procedures
• Maintain cleanliness of work area, equipment, seafood cases, backroom
• Prepare product for cases
• At closing, pull product from cases for proper storage
• Handle live seafood
• Prepare party trays and selected seafood
• Suggestive selling and sampling products for customers
• Cook-fry and steam product for customers
• Other duties may be assigned at the discretion of store management
