  • Experience managing, coaching, or mentoring a sales development team, or demonstrated leadership as a top performer ready for the next step.
  • Strong communicator capable of coaching on both the art and science of outbound.
  • Data-driven, comfortable using the CRM, and able to translate activity metrics into coaching priorities.
  • Resilient and persistent, and able to help the team stay that way through rejection and ramp-up.
  • Organized to manage a team's pipeline and personal priorities simultaneously.
  • Customer-centric mindset, helping the team understand and speak to real prospect pain points.
  • Proactive, resourceful, and comfortable building process where none exists.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in HR, technology, or software sales, including at least 1-2 years in a leadership, mentorship, or management capacity.
  • Demonstrated military experience with skills such as teamwork, resilience, negotiation, and trust-building, coupled with a strong "never give up" attitude.
  • Experience in professional team sports during college, showcasing teamwork, discipline, and a competitive spirit, with a proven track record of leading others.

Responsibilities

  • Hire, onboard, and develop a team of SDRs, building a bench that can grow with the company.
  • Set and manage individual and team targets, tracking activity, pipeline, and conversion metrics against goals.
  • Coach reps on outbound strategy, objection handling, and qualification through call reviews, role-play, and side-by-sides.
  • Build and refine outbound playbooks, sequences, and messaging across calls, email, and social.
  • Own the SDR-to-AE handoff process, working with Account Executives to make sure qualified leads convert into pipeline.
  • Manage the team's use of the CRM and sales engagement tools, keeping activity and data clean and reportable.
  • Report on team performance to Sales leadership, flagging risks and opportunities early.
  • Stay close to the front line: jump into calls, prospecting, and outreach when it helps the team or a specific deal.
  • Continuously test and improve outbound tactics as products, markets, and buyer personas evolve.

Benefits

  • Competitive salary plus commission/bonus package designed to reward your expertise and your team's results.
  • Access to continuous learning and career advancement programs.
  • Supportive and collaborative work environment where ideas are valued and teamwork is encouraged.
