About The Position

Kadiak, LLC, a Koniag Government Services company, is seeking a Scrum Master with Top Secret Security clearance to support Kadiak and its government customer in Vienna, Virginia. The Scrum Master uses Kanban or Scrum principles to ensure work progresses on schedule and achieves organizational goals. The role facilitates team ceremonies and discussions among government and technical leads, the Program Manager, engineers, and other stakeholders. It also helps teams address blockers and conflict, coordinates updates and issue resolution across teams, tracks JIRA ticket statuses, supports other Scrum Masters, and guides teams in Kanban processes. Requirements

At least two years of relevant experience as a Scrum Master.
Demonstrated ability to work in an operational environment where priorities change frequently.
Expertise in proactively identifying and resolving blockers and organizing sprint releases.
Superior organizational skills.
Superior verbal and written communication skills.
Experience with JIRA, Confluence, and MS Office tools.
Top Secret Security clearance.
Bachelor’s degree in a related field.

Responsibilities

Facilitate Scrum ceremonies, including Kanban sessions, standups, and retrospectives.
Facilitate discussions among Government Leads, Tech Leads, the Program Manager, engineers, and other stakeholders.
Identify and remove blockers to team success and resolve conflict.
Coordinate with multiple teams to track task updates and issue resolutions.
Track JIRA ticket statuses, including upcoming, late, and priority tickets.
Coordinate with other Scrum Masters.
Guide teams in Kanban methodology and processes.
Communicate relevant project information effectively to team members and stakeholders.
