About The Position

D.R. Horton is seeking a Scrum Master for its Marketing Technology Digital Transformation, which is reinventing digital experiences across the home-shopping and buying journey. This is an in-person position in the Arlington, Texas office. The Scrum Master leads, coaches, and guides teammates in delivering technology solutions while fostering a collaborative and productive environment. The role supports the Product Owner and Delivery Team in meeting sprint goals, promotes Agile adoption and maturity, and helps teams track progress and achieve delivery commitments.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
At least 3 years of experience as a Scrum Master or Agile team facilitator in a digital-related field such as technology, engineering, data analysis, architecture, or design.
Previous experience working on software and/or mobile app development projects.
Hands-on experience applying Scrum and Agile methodologies in a cross-functional environment.
Strong knowledge of the Scrum framework, Agile principles, and iterative delivery methodologies.
Ability to identify process inefficiencies, resolve team impediments, and drive continuous improvement.
Strong technical acumen and knowledge of software development processes and procedures.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including strong presentation skills.
Experience working in a fast-paced, start-up-like environment.
Proven ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong analytical skills.

MBA.
Experience supporting enterprise-scale or multi-team Agile initiatives.
Background in technology, digital, or product delivery environments.
Scrum Master certification such as CSM, PSM I, or equivalent.

Responsibilities

Facilitate sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and backlog refinement.
Apply Scrum principles and Agile best practices to support consistent processes, disciplined workflows, and continuous improvement.
Support backlog readiness and prioritization so work aligns with business objectives and delivery timelines.
Identify and track impediments, communicate blockers, dependencies, risks, and concerns, and escalate issues when needed.
Maintain Agile artifacts, metrics, and dashboards to provide delivery transparency, visibility, and accountability.
Collaborate with technology, business, and operational stakeholders to support alignment, information flow, and timely decisions.
Implement process and tool improvements based on retrospective outcomes and delivery insights.
Ensure Agile practices align with enterprise standards, governance requirements, and compliance guidelines while preserving delivery flexibility.
Support Agile adoption initiatives and contribute to organizational Agile maturity.
Assist with release planning, dependency management, and coordination.
Serve and support the Product Owner and Delivery Team in consistently meeting sprint goals.
Problem-solve delivery challenges, seek resolutions, and escalate when progress is stalled.
Improve internal and external communication, transparency, and information sharing.
Facilitate discussion, decision-making, and conflict resolution to keep the team aligned and focused on priorities.
Drive teammates to deliver on commitments and guide them in applying Agile and Scrum practices.
Support and educate the Product Owner, particularly in refining and managing the product backlog.
Conduct business professionally and ethically to serve customers and support company goodwill and profit.
