About The Position
We are seeking an experienced Scrum Master with strong expertise in Agile and SAFe frameworks, specifically within the Healthcare domain. The ideal candidate will be a servant leader who can effectively guide Agile teams, facilitate PI Planning, and ensure smooth delivery of program objectives while driving continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Minimum 5+ years of Scrum Master experience in Healthcare domain
- Strong knowledge of Agile and SAFe frameworks
- Proven experience in PI Planning and program-level coordination
- Experience working with cross-functional and distributed teams
- Strong understanding of: Agile delivery models, SDLC, Metrics and governance
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) / Advanced CSM - Mandatory
Nice To Haves
- SAFe Scrum Master (SSM) or SAFe Agilist (SA) - Preferred
- Additional Agile/Lean certifications are a plus
- Knowledge of Healthcare systems (Claims, Enrollment, Member, Provider workflows)
- Experience in regulated environments (HIPAA awareness)
Responsibilities
- Serve as the Scrum Master for one or more Agile teams in a healthcare environment
- Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies: Sprint Planning Daily Stand-ups Sprint Reviews, Retrospectives Backlog Refinement
- Drive Agile maturity and ensure adherence to Agile/SAFe best practices
- Lead and support PI Planning activities, including: Planning readiness and coordination, Dependency identification and management, Risk assessment and mitigation, Ensuring execution alignment and follow-through
- Collaborate with Release Train Engineers (RTEs), Product Owners, Architects, and Stakeholders
- Coach teams on Agile principles, SAFe practices, and continuous improvement
- Identify and remove impediments and blockers impacting delivery
- Foster a culture of transparency, accountability, and collaboration
- Manage risks, issues, and dependencies proactively
- Monitor and report Agile metrics, including: Velocity, Sprint burndown/burnup, Predictability, Sprint health
- Provide visibility into delivery progress and team performance
